The Studio tab in the menu on the platform is only visible for people who are an admin on the platform. They show all the components of the Studio, depending on which modules are activated on your platform (if you only have the learn module activated, you will for example not see the items 'Objectives' and 'Check-ins'). The Studio allows you to configure your platform, tailor it specifically to your company's preference and values and (if you have the Learn module) you can design and create courses.

Below you can find a brief summary of the possibilities of every item in the Studio.

Learn module components

In the first tab Courses, you can create courses, based on video material, slides, quizzes, pdf's and other material you might have.

Sessions are used to organise and set up offline classroom sessions. You can make a planning and set dates for these 'events' and users can subscribe to specific sessions.

Next up is Tracks. A track is a combination of courses where you can link several courses to one track. For example if you would like to onboard a new employee or brief a partner about the operations of your company, they might have to follow a series of courses. Via Tracks, you can easily bundle the relevant courses and enroll someone in a track.

The item Questions allows you to create a big pool of questions which you later can use when you're setting up a quiz in certain courses. You can link these questions to certain skills (see later).

Topics are used to give extra information about the content of courses. A specific course can for example be tagged with the topic 'Sales' or 'Operations'. Based on these topics, you can filter the courses in the library.

To create the courses (see above), you need material that you can upload and manage in the tab Media. You can upload video's, pdf's and other files.

When designing courses, you might want to attach certain certificates to them. You can create, add and change these certificates under the tab Certificates.

Badges are used to reward people and stimulate them in their learning proces. You can attach badges to certain steps in your courses and can change, create and design those in the item Badges.

If you're creating a course, you want to track what your students are actually learning. You can do this by adding and managing skills.  These skills can be basically anything; Sales, Software knowledge, Communication,.. The skills can be linked to the different elements in your courses (quizzes, video's, slides,..).

Perform module components (without engagement)

The core values represent the values of your company. These are linked to the feedback and praise that can be given on the platform. You can for example give praise to your colleague about 'Innovation', if this is a core value in your company.  You can thus manage these performance drivers in this tab.

Improve your feedback and praise by using our dedicated skills library.

In the tab of feedback, you choose the different visibility settings. Inserting feedback templates makes it easier for employees to ask for feedback.

You can mark progress and receive reminders when completion is due for objectives. You can choose the different visibility settings in the studio as well.

In the tab Check-ins you can customize the flow of the check-ins in your company. Here you can change and add the topics that can be selected when you are scheduling a one-on-one and manage the questions that are linked to the topics. Creating certain templates and pushing these at a certain moment in time is another useful setting in the studio.

Custom fields are there to give more information on certain matters about your employees, depending on your preferences. You could add personality traits, wage bands or certain skills that can either be filled out by the person him- or herself or the admin. In this tab you can create new custom fields (these can be multiple choice, a text, a number,..), select the visibility and decide who can edit the fields.

Finally there is the snapshots tab. The performance snapshots are meant for the HR department to get a better view of who is ready for a promotion, who deserves a pay raise and who is at risk for low performance. Questions can be added here that will be pulsed to the relevant team leaders to be filled out about the performance of their team members.

Engagement module components

You will be able to set the frequency of the engagement pulse. This can be set to weekly, bi-weekly or once every month. Furthermore you can decide when you want the survey to be sent out. Additionally you can decide how many questions are included in the pulse. If you want more info on engagement, go to this link
