It is possible to embed (private) Office365 documents as a learn step. If you want to do this, you should contact you Success Manager.

Possible types of Office365 documents you can add:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint

You can only share Sharepoint files from Office365.

How to embed such a document in a course?

  1. Get the embed URL from your Office/Sharepoint workspace (*). Once you're in the Office365 document, click the Share dropdown button and choose "Embed". We recommend using dimensions of 700 px by 600 px. Make sure that your document is shared with the correct permissions.

    2. Add a new step to your course and select Office365.

Fill in the required fields: Skills, Name and Content for the step. Save your changes, publish your course and your students will be able to see the new step you've created.

That's it!

  • If you paste your embedded code and it disappears almost immediately, it means your code doesn't come from a sharepoint or office 365 document and it will NOT be accepted. This is to prevent any kind of malicious attempts such as phishing.
