This article will provide an overview of the email notification settings that can be found on your profile. The list is grouped by module and will contain information about the email notifications that are relevant to:

  • All users of the platform
  • Members of a team and users who have a coach
  • Course instructors

How to access your email notification settings

  1. Click on your profile picture in the sidebar
  2. On your profile, click 'Edit profile' in the upper right corner
  3. Go to the 'Notifications' tab



General notifications

All users


Someone shared a note with you.

This notification informs you that someone has shared a note with you about someone


You've received a new todo list

Platform admins can create todo lists that you need to complete.


This notification informs you that you've been assigned a new todo list

Answer reviewed

A special type of question in a course quiz is called an 'Open answer' question. In contrast to other types such as 'Multiple choice' or 'True/False', an 'Open answer' does not have a pre-configured correct answer. The user can respond to the question however they want and the course instructor needs to grade the answer afterwards. Once the course instructor has graded your answer, you'll know if you've passed the quiz or not.


This notification lets you know when your response to an 'open answer' question has been graded by a course instructor.


Badge Earned

This notification lets you know that you've earned a badge.


A new course was published for you

A setting allows course creators to let everyone know that they've published a new course on the platform. If that course setting is enabled, everyone who has access to the new course will get an email about its publication.


This notification lets you know that a new course has been published.


You are reminded to enroll in a course

A setting allows course creators to configure an automatic reminder that will be sent on a periodic basis to everyone who hasn't enrolled in the course yet.


This notification encourages you to enroll in a course


You are reminded that a deadline for a course you are enrolled in is coming up

If you've been enrolled in a course by a team leader or platform admin, it's possible they've configured a deadline.


This notification reminds you when the deadline to finish a course is approaching.

Open Answer Question Answered

A special type of question in a course quiz is called an 'Open answer' question. Enrolled as instructor in session

This notification informs you that a platform admin has made you the instructor of a session.


One of your students rated a course

This notifications informs you that a user has rated a course that you're the instructor of.

This notification informs you that someone else has planned a conversation with you


You planned a conversation with someone

This is a confirmation that you have successfully planned a conversation with someone else


Reminder to have a conversation after a set interval

A conversation template can be configured so that an automatic reminder is triggered after a certain period. It's possible to have this reminder sent to team members, team leaders, coaches, or any combination of these. Everyone who hasn't had a conversation with that template during the configured period will receive a reminder.


This notification encourages you to have a conversation after a set period of time


Someone gave you feedback

This notification informs you that someone gave you feedback on the platform.


Someone gave you praise

This notification informs you that someone gave you praise on the platform.


Someone requested feedback from you

This notification informs you that someone requested feedback from you.


Key result due in 14 days.

This notification informs you that the deadline of a key result on one of your objectives is coming up in two weeks.

A new attachment was uploaded to a conversation you're part of

This notification informs you that someone has added a file to a conversation you are participating in.


A new comment was made an on objective you follow

This notification is sent when someone leaves a comment on an objective you follow.


Send snapshot push notifications to peers of peer assessment

This notification informs you that you need to complete a peer assessment about someone in your team.


Send snapshot push notifications to user of self-assessment

This notification informs you that you need to complete a self assessment.


Snapshot reminder for peer assessment

This is a reminder to complete your peer assessment. It is sent 5 days before the deadline.


Snapshot reminder for self-assessment

This is a reminder to complete your self assessment. It is sent 5 days before the deadline.


New comment on reaction

This notification is sent when someone leaves a comment on feedback or praise you've given to someone or that you received yourself. It's also sent when someone comments on feedback you requested.



Members of a team and people with a coach

Reminder when conversation with team leader is not finished after a week

This notification is sent when the date of your conversation has passed but it hasn't been finished yet.


A new personal objective was created for you

This notification is sent when someone else (a platform admin, a team leader, or a coach) has created a new personal objective for you.


Send conversation push notifications to regular users

When a conversation template is pushed to users, this means the platform admin (this is usually your HR department) wants you to have a certain conversation via the platform with your team leaders and/or coaches.


This notification informs you that you need to have a conversation with your team leaders and/or coaches before a certain date.


Conversation reminder

This notification is sent 5 days before the deadline of a conversation push in case you haven't finished a conversation with all of your team leaders and/or coaches yet.
